Regarding TWR-K70F120M-SCH, JTAG connection

Hi,

I am using MK70FN1M0VMJ12 in my project and referring TWR-K70F120M-SCH. I found in Tower board in JTAG connection TMS is pulled-up using 10k and when i looked into the reference manual (page 259), its mentioned that K70 has internal Pull-up for TMS.

So want to know why one more pull-up of 10K was used in Tower boad ?

Hi Puspam U,

The debug signals are multiplexed with general purpose I/O pins, so some signals will require proper biasing to select the operating mode.

And the JTAG_TMS signal on PTA3 requires a strong pullup resistor for mode selection.
