Hi,
I'm working on MKL16Z256vlh4 uC , it does not have dedicated vbat pin so how to provide backup voltage when main supply goes off?
Regards
Durgesh
Hi Durgesh,
I agree with Mark, you can refer to the FRDM-KL26 board, just connect the backup voltage to the VDD.
Wish it helps you!
Have a great day,
Kerry

Hi Durgesh
The KL parts don't have battery backup so you need to use a low leakage mode instead and keep the processor powered. See the following for some more details: http://www.utasker.com/kinetis/KL_RTC.html
