Peripheral Library?

I have not seen if a peripheral library exists for the Kinetis processor. I know other manufacturers provide libraries to simplify peripheral setup and use. Is there such a thing for the Kinetis?

Also, Are there any codewarrior examples other than the hello_world build? It looks like IAR seems a better option for development, but its hard to evaulate one against the other when CW support is so poor compared to IAR.

Thanks

I think release 3.7 of MQX will incude several sample projects for Codewarrior 10 + Kinetis. It should be released in a few days (according to Freescale who keeps delaying on and on... :smileysad:)

You should use Processor Expert as a substitute for Peripheral Library. It might not be as complete as a real library but helps a lot when it comes to configure peripheral registers.

Processor Expert for Kinetis integrated with MQX 3.7 contains components covering all peripherals. You can use these components in your embedded application without limitations. There is also good demo example based on BSP created with Processor Expert in MQX 3.7.
