Hi everyone I´m new using KL25 board and i´m using code warrior and i got a question how does the passive input filter works? in this microcontroller, is filtering high frequencies?or is a band pass filter
I hope you can help me.
Thank you for reading.

This filter is not the traditional filter. It is not high frequencty filter nor band filter. It can looks like a pulse counter. It will delete small width pulse. So it looks like a filter.
Thanks for your answer, yes it help me to understand this filter thanks for your time
Best regrads.
Hello Jorge,
Did that statement help you out?
We'd like to know!
Best regards,
Monica
Hello Monica Arvizu,
I searched for more detailed information about this Passive Filter but I didn't find helpful information. The only thing I saw is:
"These pins have a passive filter enabled on the inputs. This is the shortest pulse width that is guaranteed to be recognized."
But I would like to know more about this filter, maybe they could improve my application for reading a keyboard. I'm using a KL05Z32.
Thanks,
Frederico

Does it replace software debounce?
Is there any more detailed information on the passive filters for GPIO Pins to be found somewhere.
I'm using a Kinetis K64F and have looked through the available Reference Manual and Datasheet but detailed information about this functionality is very sparse?
