P.E. K70 Clock setup. MCG External Osc selection

Why is system osc 0 the only external clock available in the MCG clk source settings? From the diagram in figure 5.1 it appears I should be able to select osc 1 as well.

  Does Freescale have FORMAL release sample code for this issue? I have the same problem ?

  I use CW 10.5 and K70 & KINETIS_120MHZ_SC!

What is the problem you have?

If it is about the missing OSC1 option in processor expert, there is an explanation for that. Please check my pair of inputs at the next thread:

Thanks. It seems I should be able to use OSC1 as well but from what I understand it requires multiple clock modes to be switched through in order to get it to work. ? I am uneasy about that so I have temporarily hacked an external OSC on my board to use OSC0. I look forward to your help with this.
