Hello,

I am using the FRDM KL25Z on my macbook pro.

I also use VirtualBox to use windows, and code warrior.

All works fine, but some times juste when i connect the USB cable, my computer freeze during 3 secondes, and shut down, then restart.

Doest some other people had this strange issue ?

Or do you have an idea of the reason ?

Hi

We don't have record about similar issue.

What kind of USB function of FRDM-KL25Z board?

Could you change using another USB port of Macbook pro? If both USB ports could cause the same phenomenon?

Wish it helps.

Have a great day,
Ma Hui

Hi

Sorry for the so later reply.

I would recommend customer update the OpenSDA firmware with Segger provided J-Link firmware.

I checked there with description that :

Due to limitations of the OpenSDA bootloader replacing the firmware to use it as a J-Link can only be done on Windows and Linux systems. When the firmware is replaced, it can be used like any J-Link on Mac OS/X, too.

More detailed info, please check below link:

SEGGER - The Embedded Experts - OpenSDA / OpenSDA V2

Wish it helps.

Hi

Do you have the IDE software?

You could using J-Link to debug the code, which will program the KL25 Flash before debugging.

Wish it helps.
