Hi,

  I would like to know if NXP has plans to manufacture the KV5x 512K flash chips. (MKV58F512xx/MKV56F512xx) 

  Since the KV5x were released, more than two years ago, these chips never been in stock in any distribuitor.

Hi Ari,

This is most likely because distributors typically hold stock of the superset device, so they can service any requests for the 1MB version and the 512KB version.  So you wantto see if there is stock of the 1MB versions to get you started.

NXP continues to experience higher than forecasted demands on GLOBALFOUNDRIES Fab7 C90TFS technology products. The KV5x products lead time will be extending to 39 weeks.
