Hi All - I am developing a board around the MKL05 part and can't find any info on programming via JTAG.  I see the element14 board has the OpenSDA interface, but I don't want to include that on my board.  What are my options?  Can I use the JLINK programmer I have used with other Kinetis parts?  Any links to example schematics would be much appreciated.

Yes, you may use JLINK to program KL05 via SWD interface, the FRDM-KL25Z provides a ref design for it.Only three signals needed to implement this besides VDD and GND. Please Kindly refer to the folllowing for details:

You may also refer to page 26 of the use guider for more details.

Hope that helps,

One more thing, if you use 20pin J-Link, you can use this tool both on Kinetis K series and L series. L series only use half part of K series JTAG debug interface.
