MK66 serie with eMMC

Hello,

I am using a MK66 MCU serie and I was wondering if there is the possibility to drive an eMMC with the SDHC driver from the MK66. I don't want to work with a SD card. 

I know this is not a native configuration but is there a way to do this? 

Regarding the risks, is it worth it?

Thanks for your post. In short, it is technically possible to access an eMMC device using the SDHC peripheral of the MK66.

The SDHC peripheral on the MK66 is based on an SD/MMC host controller. The eMMC is backward-compatible with the MMC protocol. You may refer to the Reference Manual  for more details.
