MK24FN1M0VDC12: Large current consumption during USB communication

Hi,

We use MK24FN1M0VDC12 to make the USB2.0 FS device. See attached for the schematic.

We found that there is the large current when there is the USB communication. See attached for the current strike (more than 20mA) caused by the USB communication.

We don't know if this current strike is normal or not, because we do not find the related spec in the datasheet.

The attachment you provide do not indicate what the USB connection. Please double check the USB connection. You may make reference the FRDM-K64F USB circuit. (MK24 USB is same with K64)
