We manufacture 3 products with this component.
We have numerous instances (100+) instance of the product having been assembled and programmed with a Cyclone production programmer, then fails when connected to USB.
The equipment is not seen by the host computer and the micro-controller gets extremely hot.
This issue only occurs if USB is connected. Other operations are unaffected.
95% of product appears OK and has no issue on the USB in either removable disk or COM port mode.
Does anybody have any similar problems with this device failure mode? Is it a common issue with the USB?
