MED-EKG Tower kit Virtual com Port

Hi,

       I bought a twr k53n512 towerkit with med ekg.I use IAR ide for debugging.I am able to flash the code using iar but after flashing when i connect the usb cable to twr-ser board my system shows "USB not recognized".The virtual com port driver provided with medical gui from nxp doesnt work.Is there any solution for my problem?

Thanks for the quick reply.

while connecting the twr board without twr ser board, the OSBDM/OSJTAG COM port is visible but unable to download the code.

we were able to download the code by removing   flash loader option through options/Debugger/download/use flash loader. as shown below

still the hello world is not working. :smileysad:

     After update the firmware, then uninstall the COM and install it again.

    After you test it , please tell me the result on your side.

Hi Jingjing,

                    I checked my device with 4 different systems,result was same.I checked in device manger for the usb device it shows no hardware id and shows "code43 error".What does that mean?it has anything to do with my med-ekg tower kit?

    We also need to check the hardware now!

    Could you tell me when you find both the onboard OSJTAG CDC and the TWR-SER USB CDC can't work? in which situation?

   Are you sure, now you still can do K53 programming? And when your just use TWR-K53, without other board, you still can't find the COM port?

  Now, follow this link:
