MCU RECOVERY

Hello,

I recently started using the FRDM-KV31F board with a MKV31F512VLL12 uC on it. i decided to play around and write my own codes for clock generation using the MCUXPRESSO ide.

I am now afraid that I might have bricked the mcu because of improper clock configuration as the mcu is not allowing access to the debugger throwing errors like "the target processor refused to respond". Is this possible? If yes, is there any solution available for the recovery of my mcu with isp, etc?

Regards, Apurv.

Hi,

a chip erase can exit the brick state. Please see the attachment.
