KW45 Power measurment board issue

Hello,

I am trying to measure power consumption on my KW45 EVK following AN13230 recommendations.

The board was working fine and i could observe figure 13.

In chapter 5.1.1 I have removed the 4 components as mentioned in Figure 12 to have the same waveform as Figure 14 and sharpen my waveform.

Now i have error when i try to flash code and the application already existing no longer run. and also led D7 is now On when i power the board.

I hope no issue happened to the board.

It is not mentioned in the document but after looking to the schematic , should i shortcut the components after removing them ?

(R177 , L13 , R178 , R179).

Hope you are doing well. Yes, you are correct. If you removed those components, you need to shortcut the connection after removing them.

Thanks for the reply.

I have made changes , the board is now running fine. But the waveform is not as expected like figure 14. Too much noisy.

Here is what i am observing. (advertising figures before and after the hardware changes). 

Before is as expected, After hardware changes too noisy. i am also measuring from JP5-3 , the project code is the same.

Hello,

After removing those components, it is normal that you see these shapes.

As some physical change was done to the board, the wave might not be the same as in the AN.
