K70 support in MCUXpresso

WIll MCUXpresso ever have support for the K70? It does not look like it does as of now.

It would be very helpful to know why?  Is it technical or an internal roadmap decision.  There is no other LPC solution that has the security engine and a graphics engine so just saying there is no support is hard for us in the community that haven't heard that the K70 is no longer suggested for new designs.

Why 4.2 rather than the newer 5.0?

MQX 4.2 is free, and MQX 5.0 is available under commercial license.

We have no plan to support K70 in MCUXpresso.

I would suggest you use MQX 4.2 for K70 develop.
