Freedom-KL25Z Bootloader

Hi all,

Has the bootloader on the Freedom-KL25Z been updated to a Windows 8/10-compatible version (e.g. v1.11) yet? The ones I got from Digi-Key in May still had the old version (v1.9) which only works with Windows 7 and earlier. Thankfully my ancient Windows 7 notebook hasn't died yet, so I was able to reprogram the boards. However, I want my students to buy Freedom-KL25Z boards for class this August without having to deal with this hassle.

Alternatively, which of the other Freedom boards have a Windows 8/10-compatible bootloader version?

there is a Win8/10 compatible version for the OpensSDA v2.0/2.1 available (see https://mcuoneclipse.com/2016/06/26/how-to-recover-the-opensda-v2-x-bootloader/ ).
