FRDM-KL25Z KDS3.0 SDA Connection Issue

I am having issues with KDS 3.0 connecting to the FRDM-KL25Z board SDA port.  Have search through existing discussions and videos etc... I could find.

The FRDM board is recognized correct in device manager.  BUT, in KDS debugger configuration have tried every type of connection and nothing will let me see the USB port.  I even downloaded PEs server which does not see it.  Refresh does not help, Port stays empty.

With the board I designed using the KL25 my PE universal link works.  I wanted to use the FRDM board for testing some things.  Also, I want to use it with the Multi-B sensor board example apps.

Any help or pointed in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Brian,

Did you install the bootloader application? If no, please follow the steps in the section 2 in the OpenSDA user guide. The application can be downloaded from this link​ in the Firmware Apps​ section.

The image below shows the steps in the section 2 in the OpenSDA user guide (loading an OpenSDA application).
