Hi!

I have 5 TWR-K21D50M boards, 2 of the have following problems:

1.They wont program unless I use 'Mass erase on connect' and hold them in reset before starting programming.

2. While using sdk example (as GPIO one) it will program succesfully, but disconnect debugging in about 30 seconds.

3. When I am trieng to load a bigger binary I am getting error:

Loading programming algorithm ...

Done.

CMD>PM

Programming.

Processing Object File Data ...

Programmed.

Error communicating to target processor - try a RESET.

CMD>VC

Error loading CRC-16 algorithm.

Error loading CRC-16 Algorithm.

Error verifying flash of device

Error occured during Flash programming.

PE-ERROR: Error downloading to the device.

The other 3 boards work fine, all of them have the same version of firmware. I am using KDS. Debugging through onboard usb using P&E.

Any sugestion what could be wrong with them before I send them back to suplier?

Thank you!

Hi Viktors,

I have not seen these problems before, could you please try updating the firmware version of the Tower boards presenting the problem using the P&E Updater utility?

Also make sure that the jumper settings are in its default setting.

Another thing you could try is to install the latest P&E drivers, these can be downloaded from this page:

Let me know if it helps!

All the boards at firmware version 31.21 (also confirmed by P&E Firmware Information Utility).

Drivers are also recent.

The strangest thing is that 3 boards are absolutely fine, and working properly.
