the bit ADDINS in ENET_TCR  register ,when set it to 0,the meaning is “The source MAC address is not modified by the MAC.”。

1) Here “The source MAC address”,  is it factory MAC address?

2) Is it the only global ?

3) Can i use it in ethernet?

Hi

There are no MAC addresses programmed in the Kinetis devices - see Reading MAC address TWR-k60N512

The address that you are referencing is simply the one that the Ethernet software writes to registers with PALR and PAUR (used for reception address matching).

ADDINS is used to force the Ethernet controller to automatically insert this value also into transmitted frames (Ethernet II source address), whereby the Ethernet software usually does this itself.
