Bootloader for KV56F1

Hello, I want to design a new board based on the KV56F1, I am new with these MCUs and I have a few questions.

The first one is, how I can build a bootloader to set the clock frequency, external memory blocks etc?

Could that bootloader been uploaded throught JTAG?

There is any reference design to know what crystal oscillator frequency is needed to set the MCU at 240MHz?

1. Yes, this can be made through the startup code.
2. Yes, you can upload the bootloader through JTAG, for more detailed information about the bootloader I suggest to check to check the Kinetis Bootloader v2.0.0 Reference Manual Arm® Cortex®-M7|Kinetis® KV5x Real-time Control MCUs | NXP 
3.  Regarding the clock you can use our ConfigTool, there you can update the clock frequency of your mcu. For more detailed information please refer to chapter 32 Multipurpose Clock Generator(MCG)
