50 MHz sample code usb_host on FRDM-K20D50M

In the 50 MHz sample code, the usb_host project, the Readme.txt says...

FRDM-K20D50M setup

Use default jumper setting for board.

However, the schematic for this board indicates

OPTIONAL USB HOST FUNCTIONALITY

POPULATE THESE

PARTS FOR

USB HOST FUNCTIONALITY

And the parts indicated are J21 and R82.

Just making sure I need to break out the soldering iron before I do.

had you succeeded to execute it?
I have executed the usb_host sample code.
From my experience, it will be OK only to connect J21 jumper.
"Use default jumper setting for board" would be incorrect.

You are correct, J21 has to be placed for USB Host to work. The code developers omitted this by mistake, because all the other projects work OK without J21.
