Hi,

I am testing the sample project and works fine by using KDS 3.2.0 and KSDK 2.x. But, there is only reference link to the files used in the project.

Now, I want to have the independent project include all files used locally.

Could you tell if I can use  "Kinetis SDK Project Generator Tool" to do so?

Thanks,

Christie

Hi Christie,

"Clone" feature is not supported for all projects. There are needed metadata to be able to clone the example projects. The feature was instruduced in SDK 2.1, so I believe all SDK 2.1 packages will contain this feature.

Hi Alice,

I want to clone the existing project and replace the reference link with local files. But, when I choose "CLONE", it only allow me to select from demo/apps, not other directory. And can't generate standalone as well. See attached doc...

Hi Christie,

If you want ot create new project with all source files copied into the project, then select option New.

If you want to clone existing example with all source files copied into the project, the select option Clone.

In both cases ensure check box "Generate standalone project" is turned ON.

Hi Marek,

I tried what you said. But my problems(Version 2.1 & 2.3) are:

I am using KSDK 2.0 for K64F with sensor fusion enabled(ISSDK 1.0) generated on AUG, 2016)

1) When I enable "clone", I can't select "Generate Standalone Project"

2) When I select "Clone", it only allows me to choose sample from /demo/Apps, bit the samples from sensor fusion..

So, I can't clone the existing project with local reference to source files...

Thanks,

Christie
