Hi James,

we can use Multilink Universal or  Multilink Universial FX to program KE04

P&E Microcomputer Systems - USB Multilink Universal - USB Multilink Universal All-In-One Development...

P&E Microcomputer Systems - USB Multilink Universal FX - USB Multilink Universal FX All-In-One Devel...

we can refer FRDM-KE04Z schematic SWD design for how to design program interface.

http://cache.freescale.com/files/soft_dev_tools/hardware_tools/schematics/FRDM-KE04Z_SCH.pdf

if you already purchased FRDM-KE04Z board, you can debug and program KE04z via OPENSDA usb interface, needn't external programmer.

can this help?

Have a great day,

Hi James,

The FRDM-KE04Z Freedom boards have on-board debugger capability via the USB connector.  You do not need to populate the 10-pin header.  The USB provides power, debugging, Virtual COM Port, and debugger firmware update capabilities.

For a custom product you develop, then you would need to have a 10-pin debugger header that will work with PEMicro, Segger, and other debugger hardware.

David

Seems like it would work.

Please review this great blog (and signup for it too).
