i am planning to build what is effectively a sensor hub, to which i can connect small boards with i2c devices, for example sensors or fan controllers etc.
I read about the PCA9615, which supports hot plug and multi drop. My question is similar to this one:
But in my case, i want to be able to add and remove the devices dynamically, so i dont know the number of devices connected beforehand, just the maximum number of connected devices.
Is it possible to have a "dynamic" multi drop architecture like this with the PCA9615? Out would i need to add one for each port to make it reliable?
