I recently built a new wooden deck in my backyard and want to make sure it stays in great condition for years to come. I’ve heard a lot about different treatments and finishes, but I’m a bit confused about the best approach.
Specifically, I’m curious about deck staining, how often it should be done, which products hold up best in varying weather, and whether prep work like sanding or cleaning is necessary each time. Any tips, personal experiences, or product recommendations would be really appreciated.
