floating point to fractional conversion

Hey,      

I have a sample code using calculations in floating point, that i want to use on my MC56F82748 DSC platform using using fractional maths  so i can use the FSESL libraries. Especially the ''GFLIB_ControllerPIp'' function which uses scaling for its gains input.

Is there any guide or step i should follow to ensure correct conversion/porting?
