I have one DSP56F803 content program and another one is blink ,

- i want to copy the program from the first to second .

- i want to test the first is ok or no . 

what are hardware and software  i will need to do two operations ?

i need more details about these commands .

If firmware not protected , Do I use the same software ?

Hi,

In order to protect firmware IP, we do not have the dedicated tools to copy the code to a file.

But I think you can use flashOverJtag.exe tools to read the binary code to a file, but the flashOverJtag.exe tools is very old(I suppose that the tools was released in 2000 year), you have to get an old PC which has 25 pin parallel port and supports DSC OS. The flashOverJtag.exe tools only support DOS environment.
