The asm56600.exe is the assembly compiler, dsplnk.exe is the linker, which are located at:
.......\dsp56600tool1.0\clas
The gds56600.exe is the debugger which is located at:
....................\tools\dsp56600tool1.0\ads
There is not programmer, if you want to program the application code to external flash, you have to develop the code yourself. this is the procedure:
1)write the application code and load it to internal RAM by debugger
2)write the boot code which can read the application code and write to external flash, then load the boot code by debugger and run.
3)use the bootstrap code in the on-chip ROM to read the application code from flash to RAm and run after power up automatically.
As I said the DSP566xx is very very old, we no longer support the tools.
