mcf5213 IDE

Hello, 

I need to get the compiler for microprocessor ColdFire MCF5213. And this compiler should be able to run with Window 7 and Window 10.

Do you have any recommendation.

I know that Code Warrior Development Studio is able to do the job. However, it state in the website that it ran on Window 2000 or XP OS.

Hello Mike,

I installed the CodeWarrior IDE v11.1 successfully.

However, when I tried to Import the mcp project (a legacy one with target processor MCF5213), the IDE complained about "This toolchain is not supported for this target". 

Please see image below.

Do you know where can I get this toolchain?

Hi Darren,

There is an application note AN4104 about converting ColdFire legacy CodeWarrior project to CodeWarrior for MCU V10.0.

While, If this application note doesn't work on your site.

I would recommend use CW for MCU V11.1 create a new project based on MCF5213 chip and porting related codes to this project.

Thank you Mike for the information.

I am trying out both CW V11.1 as well as CW Classic IDE V6.3 for these legacy code.

However, with Classic IDE V6.3, I am missing the support folder "E68K_Support\Runtime\Runtime_68K\(Common_Source)"...

Is this folder available in Classic IDE V6.4?

I had been trying to locate the link to download this V6.4 IDE.....

Do you know where can I get one?

I couldn't find the CodeWarrior Classic IDE v6.4 download resource.

I can only find CW Classic for ColdFire V7.2 download link at here.
