MCF5441x RSTOUT pin Toggles

Does anyone have any idea why MCF5441x RSTOUT (pin L16) is toggling after RESET (pin K15) is deasserted? In roughly 10ms (milli-second) cycle time the RSTOUT pin is driven low for about 4us (micro-second).

In what situation RSTOUT (pin 16; output clock) of MCF54418 may be toggling? In roughly 10ms (milli-second) cycle time the RSTOUT pin is driven low for about 4us (micro-second).

I would guess that the CPU is resetting. You should examine "12.3.2 Reset Status Register (RSR)" to find out why.

Maybe the Watchdog is enabled and not being serviced?

Maybe something is writing to the FRCRSTOUT bit in "12.3.1Reset Control Register (RCR)"?
