Hi All. I am using MCF52277 for my design. I need CAN and I2C. But in this device both are multiplexed in the same pin. How can I use bith CAN and I2C. My primary communication is CAN and it can happen any time from the peripherals. But I2C is time triggered on and will happen once in 5 minutes or so.

Tapping this pin to CAN and I2C , a good design?. I am sure No. Help me how to use CAN and I2C\

it seems there are another pins have i2c function  in mcf52277, except for those multiplex with can

 

by the way, I also do 52277 board, but I find it has too many multiplex pins, which is a very bad design, currently, I am going to quit the project, and select new mpu to do it.
