MCF52235 Cryptography

Hello People

I want to use the 52235 cryptography, but I don´t know a penut about it.

Could you tell me where can I find the basics / tutorials for cryptography?

I dont want to reinvent it, but I just wanna know the basics in order to define some application points.

Have you ever used the 52235 crypto engine?

Thanks for your collaboration to my post.

Attached follow a old Freescale presentation about cryptography, wich I received by internet suport.

As I remember, it has CAU module.

You can download stand-alone crypto ibrary from Freescale web site, but unfortunately without source codes (only binary).

Also you can get open-source Crypto drivers from MCF54455 Linux BSP (beta version has only DES/3DES driver, next version will have full set of drivers MD5,SHA1, AES).

I want to use DES cryptography algorithm in my project, but I don't know how to insert the CAU library to my project. I download the library code from the link below.

Search for "CAU" on Freescale's web site and start reading. I started clicking but the "Export Regulations" started asking where I was so I gave up.

It may only work with CodeWarrior or one version of CodeWarrior or with ProcessorExpert or something.
