Can anyone tell me how, or where  to change the license file to activate the permanent license assigned to me with the purchase of the M5213EVM?

I'm assuming that you have in hand an e-mail with your license key which Freescale sent you after you submitted the registration/license request to [email protected].

1) Make a copy of the existing license.dat file, just in case Bad Things Happen.

2) Open the license.dat file with an editor.

3) Consult the e-mail with the license key; it should have directions on copying the license key string embedded within it into the license.dat file.

4) Close license.dat and save your changes.

5) Restart CodeWarrrior.
