I tried submitting several times before the deadline expired with the same result:
"Server Error in '/' Application."

Eventually, I managed to submit a Service Request with the number 1-527191257. This request contains my application for the contest with all the necessary files and comments and the .htm file with the server error. I hope you will accept my contest entry considering there was a server problem and I have put quite an effort for developing my application. Please let me know about my entry status.

Just to follow up and save anyone else the trouble, I received this from Freescale:

Our web team indicates that this error occurred because the contest
application servers detected a potentially malicious entry. More
specifically "<Enter>", it is the less than & greater than symbols that
caused the problem.  We are in the process of fixing this, in the mean
time please try entering it as "[Enter]".

Sure enough, I had the string "<Enter>" included in the "steps to run" text field, and that was the issue -- I changed it to "[Enter]" and it worked!

Hi,

I want to take part in the contest; now I read that the judges will test the entries with a Rev. C board. But I only have a Rev. B board?! Does this mean, I can't take part with my board and that I have to get a new one??

This have been fixed- however the board will not be shipping until Nov. 26th.
Hope you can code quickly, that will give you about 3 days to complete it.

There was a problem with the Buy Direct system, but that has been cleared up now.  The system may still initially report a long-lead ship date, but if that does occur you will get a follow up message soon after with a revised ship date.  These boards are in stock and ship almost immediately.

The RevB board can be used for developement, and any application written for the RevB board will run on a RevC board.  Note in the board errata document that the only difference is a fixed IR emitter in the RevC version.

   Sorry my mistake on the deadline. You actually have 4 weeks, and I did get a notice today that it  has shipped.
