Smart DSP OS for MSC8157

Hi,

   I have a concern about the SmartDSP OS that is built in into the CW v10.1.8. I am trying to simulate a HW peripheral on MSC8157 which is documented to be supported on CW v10.1.8. But looks like i dont have any option to enable the Smart DSP OS while building a MSC8157 project for simulation. With this limited feature, I cannot enable any HW related functions like DMA or ETHERNET on MSC8157.

   Can you please advice how this can be addressed?

Or is there a newer version of SmartDSP for MSC8157?

Hi,

You need to install the CW10.1.10 in order to have MSC8157+SmartDSP OS support.

The latest SmartDSP OS is B03.09.03 which incorporates alpha supprt for MSC8157 DSP on the ADS.
