Interface function IMWprotocol::GetPreference is unimplemented

Hi,

My cw version is SC 10.1. I used it to debug m8156 ADS targets. it was running correctly before.

but today after I launch a debug configuration, it says

Exception occurred during launch.

Reason:Interface function IMWprotocol::GetPreference is unimplemented

What is this error mean?

Are you connecting to MSC8156ADS board?   How are you connecting to the target - USBTap or EthernetTAP? Can you send us the .log file that is located <workspace_folder>? 

What happens if you try to debug after you have clean and rebuild the project?

I\m using the USB-Tap to connect the MSC8156ADS board.

it always stops at the same error when i start the dubug configuration.
