CW starcore - ccs core not supported issue

Hi,

I'm trying to execute SDOS project file using Codewarrior 10.1.3 IDE and ONCE USB TAP emulator on MSC8156AMC-SA in an windows XP system. But i'm seeing always "CCS Protocol - CCS core not supported" error and i can't able to execute the project files.

Please let me know what could be the issue and how to fix it?

Hello,

My first suggestion would be to upgrade to a newer version of CW. The latest one is here:

The MSC8156AMC is made of 3 MSC8156. In order to connect to such board, you need a special JTAG configuration file. You can find one here: {CW install dir}\SC\StarCore_Support\Initialization_Files\JTAGConfigFiles\MSC8156AMC.cfg

This JTAG configuration file needs to be added into the Debug Configuration at the Target Type Edit Box.
