Hi. My name is Steve. I have recently come back to my DEMOJM board with a hope of burning stickos on to the MCF51jm128 daughter card. Mr Testardi has been very helpful in advising me but i'm still having no joy. I would like to know, has anyone out there managed to burn stickos on to their demojm board succesfuilly? I am trying Hiwave and the stickos elf file but the hiwave program refuses to connect to the demojm board. Is there any way i can burn the file onto the demojm?

I would massively appreciate any advice.

Thankyou most humbly to anyone who might stumble upon this most lowly of posts and take notice.

Stephen.

This one :

But you probably checked that out already :smileyhappy:

But even when posting in the right forum, it might still take a while before someone answers. These forums aren't as busy as, say, a photography forum! :smileyhappy:

Haha. ( or AVR freaks for that matter :smileywink: )

I finally got stickos 1.82 working on my demojm board with some great help from Rich T himself. I couldn't upload the .s19 using hiwave and when i tried to build the skeleton code using codewarrior, it seemd to upload but at the end of uploading all I had working on the demojm board was 3 of the leds on constantly ( not one blinking like you are supposed to have..) So I managed to get the board into debug mode after uploading the dodgy skeleton file and loaded the original raw .s19 file into hi-wave whilst it was in debug mode ( basically i somehow tricked the program into working..)

Stickos then uploaded with no hitches!

I'm running it on a demojm board with mcf51jm128 and using the hyperterminal to speak to the MCU. I'm in the process of getting MIDI out of the uart.. I'll come back when I've got some working code.

See you for now,

Steve.
