Navigate to the left side of this page to the vertical menu that's topped with the title: CodeWarrior Development Products. The next item is CodeWarrior Products. Navigate as follows:

CodeWarrior Products | Coldfire > CWS-MCF-LLPLT-CX

CWS-MCF-LLPLT-CX is the Linux version of the CodeWarrior tools for Coldfire. Have a blast.

The other choice in the menu selection I described in the previous post points to a version of CW that operates on a Windows PC.

As for information on programming Coldfire...

1) Go above this forum area, and click on the Products menu.

2) Pick 32-Bit Processors from the drop down menu that appears.

3) Follow the link "68K/Coldfire Processors" to the ColdFire page. From there you can get all sorts of documentation on the Coldfire processor.

As to the interface to downloading code onto a processor, that will be a function of what Coldfire evaluation board you pick. Some boards support parallel and serial programming interfaces, but many of them now offer USB programming interfaces.
