Hi,

 How does the hardware diagnostic tool provided by the codewarrior work? Does it enable the cache and perform the memory tests mentioned in the tool.

The HW diagnostics work well. However, they don't automatically initialize memory or cache. You must do that through your initialization script. The diagnostics simply perform memory tests.

Thanks for inputs. If I perform the testing of the RAM interface with this tool, will it be equivalent to performing a robust memory test. Will be able to detect the memory access speed related issues.
