Coldfire V2 Assembly Totally Out Of the Question?

As user Bloodhound recently discovered, an assembly language project for V2 chips is out of the question with Codewarrior.... right?  Or is there some way?

(By assembly, I mean a project that has no C in it whatsoever, like one can do with CW6.2 and the S08 chips.)

The wizard may not offer to generate a assembly only project, this does by no way means that an assembly only project is not possible. It's just an advanced setup with less help from anywhere.

I'm 100% sure that a assembly only project (meaning no C code) is possible with the CF tools, but there may not be a setup without a lcf file though, the S08 tools support this as single absolute assembly mode too.

I would suggest that you study this forum thread. While the answers pertain to ColdFire V1, they can probably be applied to the ColdFire V2 tools. I have not seen any stand-alone assembly code examples in the CW for ColdFire v7 installation. It might be worth filing a Feature Request to ask for such an example to be added to the tools.
