CW for MPC555 V8.1 - P&E BDM issue

I got a CW for MPC555 V8.1 license, and a P&E USB BDM ,  as I know , CW(V8.1) does not suport this kind of BDM,  but I download a V8.7 CW for mpc555, and I copyed the license to it , finally I can use the P&E USB BDM . now this is my question , does the V8.7 CW have his deadline and when he dead what should I do ,why freescale give me a big problem like this .

I'm not clear on what you're asking here. Did you buy CW 8.1, or was it a free Special Edition download? Are you getting messages saying that the license will expire?

hi Tom,

I have bought the CW 8.1 and a BDM , but it was a P&E USB BDM ,and 8.1 does not suport it .

 So I download a  CW 8.7 form the websit ,I put my license to in it , and now I can use the CW 8.7 and the P&E USB BDM.  I wan`t to know why my sofeware is not the latest of the software .and 

Whether I had done is a pirate action.

Products that have copies of the old version of the software can float around in the pipeline for quite some time. The new version of the software doesn't appear until the pipeline clears of the old product. You did the right thing by downloading the update. Have you done anything wrong? Not that I can tell. You paid for the product, needed the software upgrade to properly use the BDM cable you bought, and are in operation. Sometimes you do have to pay for software upgrades, but if the license key is working fine, I wouldn't worry about it. Thank you for being honest about the situation and asking.
