I am trying to select a BDM for use with Codewarrior v8.7 and an MPC555 processor. Right now I am thinking the P&E USB Multilink BDM would be good. Has anyone has any issues with that? Can I use it to program the internal flash with Codewarrior's Flash Programmer or do I need to buy P&E's Flash programmer? If anyone has an suggestions on recommended BDMs I would appreciate it. Thanks.

You can use the P&E USB Multilink BDM in CW MPC5xx 8.7 for debugging and flash programming within the CodeWarrior IDE. I recommend using the CodeWarrior USB TAP BDM  probe as an alternative low cost solution.

You can also use the CodeWarrior Ethernet TAP or some third party debugger probes like P&E, Abatron or Macraigor.

You can find more details on the MPC555 product page , Software and Tools tab.

Thank you.
