"Loading Programming Algorithm " hangs

I am using CW 11, So8QE16 processor and a Multilink Universal FX. The project builds without any errors. When I try to debug the last two lines in the Console window are: -

INF: ;begin_cs

INF: Loading programming algorithm ...

in the bottom right-hand corner of the CW window the information is< -

Downloading 3184 bytes...(99%)

It will remain like this until I try to cancel. 

If I cancel the first activity the other two disappear, but the only way to cancel the remaining activity is to close CW, shut down windows and reboot.

I tried loading another project and it worked fine.

Hi Jennie.

It works fine with a different project in the same workspace. To get around the problem I created a new project in a new workspace. I then did a Copy/Paste of all of the source files and the new project worked fine. I have not tried it on another computer.
