OK, if found a newer version "USB_MSD_Host_bootloader_rev2.zip" (https://community.freescale.com/thread/103038). After importing and changeing the variable project_loc to uppercase (PROJECT_LOC) in the include path, I was able to compile the source. Unfortunately I dont have the hardware at hand, so I have to wait untli monday to check.
