Do you know where can I download targets files for HIWAVE program? The file extension is '.tgt'. I´m needing the BDM_HCS08.tgt file.

Thanks

Hello Daniel,

I´m looking for this target because it have some FLASH commands that permit to program, erase and verify FLASH contents using the BDM interface. I think that the HCS08FCS.tgt and HCS08ICDCYCLMULT.tgt do not have this commands. I will try it and after this I will put a conclusion here.

Thanks for your attention

Hello

Please refer to Expert Mode Programming in the HC08 Debugger manual for information on Flash programming commands.

Hello,

I did it, but I do not have the BDM_HCS08.tgt file to be selected. The targets that appears are:
HCS08FCS.tgt
HCS08ICDCYCLMULT.tgt
HCS08SERIALMON.tgt
SOFTEC_HCS08.tgt

And I want this target file : BDM_HCS08.tgt

Do you know how i can get this file?

Thanks

Sorry, I don't have it for you :smileysad:.

But anyway, why do you need exactly this BDM_HCS08.tgt?
AFAIK, this is the name of the old target connection to the P&E driver. It has been replaced by the HCS08FCS.tgt (simulation) & HCS08ICDCYCLMULT.tgt (hardware) targets.
So do they not work for you?

Well, I'm not the expert in those connection setups, but to my understanding, they should provide all the functionality the BDM_HCS08.tgt did use to provide.

I think the last version which did contain this target interface was the HC08 V3.1.

Hello
You can load a connection selecting  "Component" -> "Set Connection".
The Set Connection dialog should display all available connections.
