CodeWarrior Installation Problem

I'm completely unfamiliar with CodeWarrior, but as a laboratory technician, I'm responsible for getting it up and running in a multi-user, university, computer lab.  I've downloaded CodeWarrior IDE v.5.9.0, and while logged on as the local Administrator, installed it on a PC running Windows XP Pro, SP2.

The installation appears to launch and run properly when logged on as the local Administrator, but when logged on as an ordinary user, it yields an error message...

"The CodeWarrior preferences file is Read-only or currently in use."

In fact, the "CodeWarrior IDE 5.9 Prefs" file does NOT have the Read-only attribute set, but several of its parent folders are Read-only.  I tried disabling the Read-only attribute for the entire CodeWarrior directory structure, but it always reverts to its original status.

What do I need to do to make CodeWarrior launch and run properly for an ordinary user?

Try to delete "CodeWarrior IDE 5.9 Prefs", "default.cww", "EditorSettings" and "Remote_Connections.xml" from the "C:\Program Files\Freescale\CodeWarrior for Whatever\bin" folder.

CW will automatically create them again when needed in a user specific (and therefore writable) folder.

Also which product/version are you using? 5.9 is the ide, the editor version.
