Hello All,

I am facing a CW error when I try to add a file to the project. (No issue till end of 2016 with the same computer).  Reinstalling the software is unsuccessful:  Similar error occurs during the reinstallation.

(attached are the error message and the crash dump report)

Please let me know if there is a way to resolve it.

Hello Martin,

 

As far as I know, no change on the operating system but my computer is connected to Internet.

The only noticeable change was the migration to Office 2016.

I checked with my colleagues and they face the same issue while it is still working well on an old computer using Windows XP.

Hello Alain,

it is very difficult to check, what is wrong with the CodeWarrior. Which operating system do you actually use? CodeWarrior 8.7 is supported until Windows XP. 

Do you have any image of operating system from time it worked correct?

Hello Alain,

if you tried to reinstall CodeWarrior and it had no effect, it seems it is a problem with operating system. Was anything changed in operating in year 2017? Did you apply any update or something like that? Is the computer connected to Internet?
