Have you updated CodeWarrior recently?

This errors can be caused by incomplete update of 10.1 Update package.

Could you please check to have installed  all the features available into the MCU10.1 Update package?

If you choose “Group items by category”  and “Hide items that are already installed”  you should have under the “CW MCU v10.1 Update” category the following message:

“All items are installed”.  If this is not the case can you please install all the  other features and let us know if the message still appears.

Please see attached screenshot.

OK, that was the problem.  I did have to install the updates one at a time, otherwise the update failed.

I now see "All items installed", but am wondering about the "Processor Expert Update V5.2"  (png attached)

Thanks,

-Robert

The culprit in both cases seems to have to do with Processor Expert. I woud go to the Processor Expert forums and  ask the question there.

Regarding teh default workspace, I do use the steps below and that works on oneinstallation, but on another it doesn't.

Regarding "Failed to load initializer com.freescale.sratup.RseInitializer", I am using Processor Expert.

I am getting the same problem.

Failed to load initializer com.freescale.startup.RseInitializer. Plug-in com.freescale.startup was unable to load class com.freescale.startup.RseInitializer. An error occured while automatically activating bundle com.freescale.startup (884)

I'm running CodeWarrior 10.1.7.

Are you using Processor Expert?

RSE is a feature of CW v10.1.8. It is not supported in CW v10.1.7. Is someone giving you a project from CW with a higher version number?

This sounds like a Processor Expert problem. However, before I send you off to the processor expert board, how much RAM is in your system?

I do not know what the error message is about.

As for changing the default workspace:

1) Choose File > Switch Workspace > Other

The  Workspace Launcher dialog appears.

2) Type in the path and name of the desired Workspace folder, or Click Browse and navigate to the desired folder.

3) If you want this change to persist, check the "Use this as the default and do not ask again" option.

4) Click OK.
