Hi Tony,

Could you tell us which MCU are you using?

Please notice that the latest CodeWarrior version with Linux support was CodeWarrior 10.2 and it was only tested on Red Hat Enterprise Edition 5.4 (32-bit and 64-bit) and Ubuntu 10.04 (32-bit and 64-bit). If you are using a Kinetis device it may be a better option to use Kinetis Design Studio, which comes with support for Red Hat® Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS 6.4 and Ubuntu 14.04 LTS. These linux-hosted variants of the Kinetis Design Studio software development
tools are distributed as 64-bit binaries, which will not work on 32-bit systems.

Kinetis Design Studio Integrated Development Environment (IDE)|NXP

Hope it helps!

Hi Tony,

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately KDS does not support the LS1021A processors but it is supported by CodeWarrior Development Studio for QorIQ LS series for ARM v7 ISA v10.0.8. You should be able to install this CodeWarrior version on Ubuntu, the supported operating systems are:

- Windows® 7 SP1 or later systems. Includes 32-bit and 64-bit
- Ubuntu 64-bit OS: Supports the latest LTS version or within four months of LTS release.
- Redhat 64-bit: Latest LTS version or within four months of LTS release.

Hope it helps!
